This is in no way a recommendation just for interest and a place to start looking - do a google search on these names to get the latest information and idea of rates etc. Coogee Sands Hotel & Apartments 161 Dolphin Street and 84 - 86 Bream Street - serviced apartments and hotel rooms located at the northern end of the beach almost adjacent to the beach - upper end of price. Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach - Cnr Arden and Carr Streets - on the main road parallel and opposite the beach. Big hotel this is where all the sports stars stay - I even saw Diego Maradonna and the Argentinean soccer team staying their once. Variable price range. Dive Hotel - boutique hotel almost adjacent to the Crowne Plaza - opposite beach - mid range price includes breakfast. Coogee Bay Hotel - pub style accommodation - opposite the beach mid to lower price range. Rooms above a hotel which is usually very busy. Convenient for some, perhaps noisy for others. Coogee Boutique Hotel - is a new development of the Coogee Bay Hotel - located at the rear of the pub but is a separate complex. Hotel style accomodation. Not right on the beach but pretty close and right next to the main shopping area close to the restuarants. Medina Serviced Apartments - includes a conference facility. 5 minute walk to the beach. 183 Coogee Bay Rd. Upper - mid price range. Aegean Hotel - 40 Coogee Bay Rd., Coogee. Located at the top of Coogee Bay Rd, about a five minute walk to the beach. Budget style accomodation. Coogee Beachside Budget Accommodation - next to shops, short walk to Coogee Beach, transport and pubs. 178 Coogee Bay Rd., Coogee Grand Pacific Hotel - cnr Beach St. and Carr St., south end of the beach, right on Coogee Beach. Very budget style. Fantastic location. Lower price range. Surfside Backpackers - 186 Arden St., Coogee. Across the road from Coogee Beach. Budget price range. Wizard of Oz Backpackers - 172 Coogee Bay Rd., Coogee. Quick walk to Coogee Beach. Budget price range.
